may day is lei day in india

today is may day which means lei day. since i found out about pikake here, my goal was to wear a lei today. i didn't get to put a lei together, but someone brought in about 5 strings of the pikake buds on a rope. i tied 4 of them into one long string and then twisted it into a choker. it's not much, but it was very fragrant and it's the thought that counts!
